Manufacturer Provided Description
Among Sea Ray's impressive sport boat line, one model stands alone to bear the company's “select” mark - the 260 Bow Rider Select. The 260 Bow Rider Select has ample storage space, a host of standard features, and a unique set of benefits available only on the Select Series. Passengers on the 260 Bow Rider Select enjoy luxuries like a premier Clarion AM-FM digital stereo with CD player, amplifier, subwoofer, six speakers, and a cockpit remote control for incredible sound and convenience. A Lowrance 3500 depth finder, an electrically operated engine hatch, snap-in carpet liner, cockpit cover with tonneau, halon system, bow rider filler cushions, and more all come standard as Signature Select Series features. Add to all that a standard portable head in a private, lockable molded enclosure, along with a 10-gallon pressure water system with wetbar, and a transom shower. For entertaining, the Sea Ray 260 Bow Rider Select features spacious circular aft seating that is easily converted into a sunpad by inserting the filler cushion. There's a convenient cockpit table, built-in ice chest, and eight beverage holders. Even more seating is available in the molded bow area that's cordoned off by a walk-through door, which keeps excess wind from entering the cockpit while underway. At the helm, the rotocast swivel bucket helm seats feature flip-up thigh-rises. And of course, all seating on the 260 Bow Rider Select offers the comfort of Sea Ray's upgraded Select Series upholstery. The 260 Bow Rider is powered by a mighty 310 horsepower 7.4L MPI Bravo III MCM stern drive. Its hull was created using Sea Ray's Five-Axis Mill technology that allows the master pattern to be crafted with tolerances of 1-2000 of an inch, then developed and tested to give optimum performance on the water. Additional performance-enhancing features include power steering, power tilt and trim, remote oil filter, and more. While underway, the pilot can keep an eye on things thanks to a carefully laid-out molded dash, complete with Sea Ray's custom low-glare, anti-fog, backlit instrumentation. A wood-accent steering wheel and burl wood instrument panel accent the classic styling of the helm. With a wide eight-and-a-half-foot beam, the 260 Bow Rider Select not only offers a smooth, stable ride, it also creates a large amount of storage space. Everyone's gear can be easily stowed in the cockpit side panels, beneath the aft and bow seats, under the starboard dash in a lighted compartment, and in a ski and kneeboard floor storage compartment with mildew-resistant vinyl mats and gas-assisted lid. Even with so many standard features, the Sea Ray 260 Bow Rider Select can be customized with an impressive list of options - like a 415 horsepower 502 Magnum Bravo I stern drive with Corsa through-hull exhaust, hydraulic trim tabs, additional swim platform, canvas packages, and more.
